A few years ago I had noticed some cracks in the frame rails on the driverside and just a tiny crack at the rightside frame rails.
Now during the 360-engine swap I noticed the rightside frame rail had developed more fatigue damage over time. This time the damage was more serious where the crack had developed from the side of the frame rails to the underside.
The damage was ‘fixed’ with a thick reinforcement u-profile around the frame rail, just like on the leftside of the car, which has held up nicely till now.
So much energy goes into this car… almost the same amount of me doing nothing with mine! 😉
You should see the energy that somehow has gone into the leftfront door’s A-style… Or the righside rear fender… lol
