The wheels on the Dart have been taking a beating about every winter when roadsalt collects and eats into their paintlayer.
Overtime, the wheels had become ugly and shabby looking because of that.
For a long while now I’ve always wanted black wheels on the car, with a silver trimline around the rim.
So as a quick&dirty fix, I decided to clean, sand and paint the wheels semi-gloss black with a spraybomb.
If in a few months the roads are being covered with salt again, I hope any damages to the wheels can now be easily repaired again in the Spring. We will just have to find out and see about that!
